2.) Read the following article:
http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/knife-arrest-cop-pelted/2008/03/24/1206206967590.html
Discuss the reasons why the 25 year old man mentioned in the article would be regarded as having a lack of ‘moral maturity’.
The 25 year old has a lack of moral maturity because he damaged another persons property then tried to run from it. Then showed no respect to the police officer.
3.) Identify the differences between ‘morality’ and ‘immorality’.
A moral person would make good decisions that wouldnt hurt anyone else .
A immoral would make decisions for his/her own benefit with out thinking of others.
4.) Watch the following clip and describe the reasons why Governor Spitzer’s actions would be regarded as ‘immoral’.
This is regarded as immoral because he is meant to be setting a good example for every one and for him to be having sex with a prostitute is very immoral, and he decieved the people that voted for him because he acted like a family man that wants the best for people.

Stand up for the little guy
I can do this by when people are teasing the not so cool people tell them to shut up. An example of this would be a person is getting teased for being a bit overweight i can help this person by telling the bully to shut up and to get a life. This way the bully feels like they have acomplished nothing but make a fool of themselves.

ANALYSE COMPOSITIONAL MEANINGS
Write up your Compositional analysis in your Edublog
At least one paragraph about how these techniques help bring across the message of the book
Information Value
The information value on the image Dps5 is front to back because the front has more meaning with the picture of how they want things to be and in the back with the buildings being built by the convicts.
Salience / Framing
The most salient object in this image is the picture of the buildings. This image has loose framing
These techniques bring accross the message of the book because the picture is saying that we planned to come over to take over and live there forever without thinking of the natives thoughts.

Journal Entry 5 – Marist Charism
1. Define the word Charism.
a spiritual power or personal quality that gives an individual influence or authority over large numbers of people.
2. Marcellin Champagnat outlined FIVE marist charisms that are identified within Marist school.
- A spirit defined by a sense of family:
- A love of our work: This means you want to be at school.
- Simplicity:
- Presence: this means being present and setting a good example
In the way of Mary:this means brining jesus to birth in the most unlikely places
3. Provide THREE examples of how you have seen these charisms evident within Parramatta Marist.
- when we say “mary our good mother pray for us”
- when we do the simple things right by not littering
- by being present in the things we are good at eg. swimming team, debating ect..
4. List and describe TWO ways you believe we can create a better sense of ‘Marist Family’ within Parramatta Marist.
- i believe we can become closer as a marist school by having more camps to get to know each other more.
- i also believe we can become closer as a marist family by being able to sit any where in the school so we can bond with the younger and older students
