<p><strong>The Globe Theatre</strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong>The globe theatre is the theatre that most of Shakesperes plays are believed to be performed. The globe theatre is situated in London and was built in 1599 and was tragically destroyed by a fire in 1613 and was rebuilt on the same site in 1614 and was closed in 1642.</p>
<p><strong>The Kings Chamberlain men</strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong>The kings chamberlains men was the company that owned the Globe theatre. That company was Shakesperes company that he worked for.</p>
<p>&#8220;The reorganized company performed at the Theatre and the Curtain; in 1599 they moved to the newly built Globe. By 1600 they had emerged as the leading theatrical company in London, and in 1603 became the King&#8217;s Men under a royal patent from James I. The company continued successfully until the closing of the theaters in 1642. &#8221;</p>

<p>The play that my group performed was Antony and cleopatra.</p>
<p>This play is about love and heatbreak. When Antonys wife dies and he has to marry another women to win a war when he already loves the women he had an affair with when his wife was alive.</p>

<p><strong>I have found Shakespere plays are not relevent to the 21st century because they use old english and people dont really want to watch 2 people fall in love and die because the way the plays happen does not really happen in the 21st century. But some people still love shakespere plays and really enjoy watching them.</strong></p>

<p>This brings accross the message because the social distance is medium meaning that we are not apart of that but we can relate to it in some way. <p>2. Discuss what the meaning of the book is</p>
<p>- What is the message</p>
<p>I believe the message of the story is that rabits came and destroyed the habitatof the other animals, and the writer is writing the Aboriginal story in a different context by representing the white men by rabbits and the aboriginals by using Australian native animals.</p>
<p>3. Make a list of some visual techniques that you think help create these meanings.</p>
<p>Eg: Colour, participants, setting</p>
<p>DPS1- The colour is very warm and welcoming. The setting is a dessert with a big rock this represents the aboriginals because the aboriginals have a very close relationship with the land and especially Uluaru. In this picture there is also a lizard that looks at home and is very comfortable like the Aboriginals were before the &#8216;white men&#8217; came.</p>
<p>DPS4- The colour on this page is very dark and scary. The ship is the most salient object in this page meaning it is very powerful and it means business. The Rabbits are also very big in this picture and the rabbits have very sharp jaggered lines representing evil.</p>
<p>DPS9- This page is very dark and gloomy representing something bad has happeded. The page also has the rabbits up the top with their flags placed in the ground with one of the rabbits playing a trumpet representing victory. The picture also has the native animals with no colour meaning they are dead.</p>
<p>4. Discuss what you think colours represent in this book.</p>
<p> The rabbits wear black and red representing evil.</p>
<p>The ship on DPS4 is gold representing power and wealth.</p>
<p>On DPS7 the pictures are black and white representing old or memories.</p>

<p align="center"><strong> <em>Analysis</em></strong></p>
<p><strong>Understand Old One is a short poem by Oodgeroo Noonuccal about how if an Aboriginals ancestors came back they would be very shocked to see that their beautiful land that they had looked after their whole lives is now full of buildings, and cars. This gives the reader a sence of guilt because the white men took over their land and destroyed it from its natural state. It bring the reader to the realiseation that the whit men have destroyed our natural environment are replaced it with material objects rather then the beauty it once was.</strong></p>
