THE BIG BANG:
What contribution did the following scientists make towards the big bang theory?
- Walter Adams.
He worked on solar spectroscopy and co-discovered a relationship between the relative intensities of certain spectral lines and the absolute magnitude of a star. He was able to demonstrate that spectra could be used to determine whether a star was a giant or a dwarf.

Ralph Alpher.
if the universe started with a big bang, as others had hypothesized, it would explain the varying abundances of elements in the universe.

- Robert Dicke.
pioneers of the Big Bang Theory, announced they had detected an unexpected and relatively high level of radiation, Dicke proposed that this was cosmic radiation left over from the Big Bang.
