The current Dalai lama is the 14th leader of the Tibetan Buddhists and is commonly reffered to as ‘his holiness’.  He was born on the 6th of july 1935 at a young age he was regarded as the reincarnation of the 13 Dalai Lama Thubten Gyatso.

2.) Evaluate how the actions of the Dalai Lama in regard to the riots in Tibet would be regarded as exemplary moral integrity.

The actions of the Dalai Lama moral integrity was shown by him saying if the riots dont stop that he will quit being Dalai Lama.  This was a big decision for the dalai lama because even though he still wants to be the dalai lama he would quit it just for peace. This is putting others before himself.

I believe he made the right decision because as one of the commandmants says treat others the way you would like to be treated he achieved this because he gave up his life because the other man had children and a wife, and that is how he would want to be treated.
